Adventures of a Father/Daughter team trekking the Mayan Coast of Mexico. Wendy Morrill is a research biochemist presently a lab manager for the Maine Institute for Human Genetics & Health in Bangor Maine involved in cancer research. She and her Dad, Richard Bailey, are avid hikers and explorers and recently hiked 450 miles along the coastal Yucatan Mexico, from Cancun to Belize. She would like to raise $5000 of donations for cancer research, once they cross the Central American Border.

To express what my Dream vacation would be, I would like to say that just being able to give my husband and his childrens the fun that only you can offer us, and also to be relax finally would be a pleasure. In this days our family really need a real vacation.
I think I would enjoy to rest and have a good time with my husband and childrens in a trip like this.

Amazing journey! I would like to try hiking certain segments that Wendy and her father hiked. I have been going to the Yucatan with my wife, children, their friends, my cousins, and finally our friends since 1991. I am 67 years old, so my hiking speed might be slower than Wendy's and her Dad. Walk the coast of the Yucatan or bust!
